Chair Yoga class is perfect for those who are starting with yoga or those who are no longer able to work from the floor.

In this session, you will enjoy a gentle Yoga lesson with the essence of Buddhism for 40 minutes on Zoom. After the talk about Buddhism and yoga, Chair Yoga and Basic yoga will be offered alternatively on Saturdays at 10:00 am. Chair Yoga classes are guided by Mikame Sensei on odd numbered weeks. Basic Yoga classes are guided by Kaori on even numbered weeks. There might be a change in schedule because of service schedules.

Our first session is Chair Yoga on May 2nd at 10:00 am.

The instruction and talks in the class will be done in both Japanese and English.

All ages and all abilities are welcome at this session. Please wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move around in.

Let’s stretch your body within your comfort zone and share the cozy time for your body and mind together!

Things to have :

Chair Yoga

  • Chair (the one with backrest is desirable)
  • Towel
  • Water (if needed)

Basic Yoga

  • Yoga mat
  • Bath towel (in case of knee pain and as support)
  • Towel
  • Water (if needed)
